The Friends of H. P. Lovecraft: The H. P. Lovecraft Memorial Plaque Booklet, $5.00
On August 20th, 1990, a plaque was dedicated to H. P. Lovecraft on the lawn of the John Hay Library at Brown University. This booklet chronicles the efforts of "The Friends of H. P. Lovecraft", from the raising of money, through the final placement of this monument on what would have been Lovecraft’s 100th birthday. Since the John Hay Library also serves as repository of the largest collection of Lovecraft manuscripts and books, it seemed only fitting that surplus funds from the plaque project would be used to set up a manuscript restoration and acquisition fund. Includes essays by S. T. Joshi, Will Murray, and Jon Cooke, and is fully illustrated.
